Guy Fails to Score: Ending his 6-Game Goal Scoring Streak In The Grinders 3-2 OT Loss to the Burnaby Jets.

A bunch of other stuff happened, like Peter playing a really good game yet again, Andy hustling his butt off, some descension amongst the ranks, some great play, some weak play, the beer cooler almost emptying, a few missed tripping calls by the refs, a stellar OT chance by PSP to win it, two goal posts hit in regulation time and Jay’s disallowed goal, two comebacks in the game from the Grinders, but really it all comes down to the Grinders expectation of Guy scoring a goal and it simply didn’t happen.

Hahahahah ! Oh my god that has to be the funniest post yet ! Well done, well done!

I will apologize for my severe lack of finish last night. I don’t think my back is going to allow me to play the way I want to. the strength is just not there. I’ll give it another go Saturday with the Burn then decide whether its worth coming out or better to take the rest of the season off.

If at first you don’t succeed……. lower your expectations!

Yeah, let’s blame that Guy who only didn’t score. Not this guy who not only didn’t score on a break-away,(in O.T.) but, then made a defensive blunder that gave them the break-away winner. Yep it surely is that other Guy’s fault! Because if he had his goal, we wouldn’t have been in O.T. Yeah, lt’s his fault. That’s the ticket.

Ha, not to worry, my expectations have been SIGNIFICANTLY lowered. Believe me! I just hope the Grinders can live with that…It may not look like it, but I am trying, my back is just limiting me soooo much. On the Burn I tell them they are getting only “Quarter Gordie”
: P

Don’t sweat it PSP., I also missed on all my chances and didn’t get it past the guy that eventually scored the OT winner. I feel shame.
