Burnaby, 8 Rinks. September 7, 2004 Grinders vs Storm: The only mistake the Grinders made in last night’s game was making hockey their team sport.
After this many years of playing you’d think that they’d start realize that they suck and pretty plays just any gonna happen. Its gonna take hard work boys and there was very little of that last night.
If you wanna pin blame on anyone, I suggest looking at the league coordinator for allowing you to join this league. He was in the crowd watching, but he left after the first period. I’m guessing one of three things drove him away:
- He was overwhelmed with guilt for taking your cash.
- He went to check to see if there was room in the lower divisions.
- or, The hockey just sucked and he couldn’t watch anymore.
Speaking of cash, I hope you collected post dated cheques from the new guy, because if I was him, I’d searching the medical journals for a rare illness to come down with that lasts about 7 months and makes me deathly allergic to painted white ice.
Mark, don’t leave. It gets better. Maybe. I mean, really, can it not?
